Coach Nick’s wrestling accomplishments are nothing short of impressive. He is a 4x District 3 champ, 4x Region 1 Champ and 3x NJ State Champion. His High School wrestling accomplishments are some of the most impressive in the history of New Jersey wrestling. He finished his High School career with a 156-12 record and was a member of High Point’s 2008 and 2011 State Championship teams that finished the #1 ranked team in New Jersey. His success on an individual and team level is what separates him from many of his peers. Nick now takes tremendous pride in the fact he takes that knowledge to run some of the most results oriented practices and private sessions which get the very most out of every wrestler.

Coach Corey was a 4x District Champ, 3x Region Champ and placed his Junior year in Atlantic City while wrestling for Hackettstown High School. Coach finished his high school career with a 115-25 record. He then continued his wrestling career at Springfield college where he graduated with a degree in Recreational Management. He is employed by the township of Mt. Olive where he works on the recreation department and is an assistant coach on the Mt. Olive High School wrestling team. Corey spends his nights coaching the youth and high school classes at Iron Horse.

Coach Tyler was a four year varsity wrestler at Hackettstown High School where he was a 4x district finalist (2x Champion), 2x region finalist (2012 Champion) and 3x state qualifier. Despite battling illness he still accumulated over 100 wins in under 125 matches. Tyler continued his wrestling career at Ithaca College for a year before transferring to Centenary University. At Centenary Tyler achieved academic success and honors in the educational field, he will be a Math teacher at Hackettstown Middle School this upcoming fall. Tyler specializes working with the elementary and middle school aged wrestlers but also assists during our High School classes.

Coach Joe is a lifelong wrestler of Sussex County. He was a standout high school wrestler at Lenape Valley where he was a four year varsity starter and set the freshman varsity win record. Coach Joe was a District 3 and Region 1 champ in 2001 and finished his senior year ranked in top 10 in the state of New Jersey. Throughout his 32+ years of experience he has developed a knack for simplifying moves so that wrestlers of all skill levels will understand and learn how to execute them. Joe is dedicated to the growth and success of youth wrestlers in our area and is an enormous asset to the Iron Horse novice and youth classes.
