ABOUT
Iron Horse Wrestling Club: Forging Champions, Building Legacies
In March 2005, Iron Horse Wrestling started as a high school dual team and quickly rose to become New Jersey's elite high school dual team, winning prestigious tournaments. Founded by Gary Mezzacapo, it gained a reputation as a circuit powerhouse, with many New Jersey High School Champions. Then, Nick Francavilla, a three-time NJSIAA High School Champion, joined.
In 2008, Nick joined Iron Horse and became one of its star athletes, part of the 'Boardwalk Empire.' After retiring from wrestling, he opened Iron Horse Wrestling Club in spring 2018. Now, the club is one of Northern New Jersey's premier wrestling institutions, nestled in the mountains of Sussex County, known for its intense conditioning, top-notch technique, passionate coaching, and relentless practice sessions.
